Burglary suspect Caught!
The Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office and the Riley County Police Department with the assistance of the Topeka Police Department took into custody Lucas Scott Fenwick, 22 year old male from Topeka KS. Fenwick was taken into custody on August 24th, 2012 in Topeka KS. Fenwick was arrested on a Pottawatomie County warrant charging him with 2 counts of burglary, 2 counts of theft, 2 counts of criminal damage to property and 1 count of Forgery. Fenwick was transported to the Pottawatomie County Jail where he is being held on 50,000 dollars bond. The Pottawatomie County Sheriff' and the Riley County Police Department were assisted by several agencies during this investigation, Topeka Police Department, the Osage County Sheriff's Office, and the Junction City Police Department. This investigation is still ongoing and the Sheriff's Office is attempting to locate much of the stolen property to include flat screen televisions, jewelry, and guns. A black Ford Taurus with a gold hood may have been involved during the commission of these burglaries.
