Wabaunsee HS Wrestling off to great start at Mission Valley Tournament

Wabaunsee Wrestling is off to a great start. Evan Supernaw (120) and Storm Johnson (145) both lost first round matches to the #1 seeded wrestler. Evan and Storm battled through the back side, each winning four straight matches, and earning 3 pins a piece. In the consolation finals, Evan and Storm were behind in points when they came back and pinned their opponents sealing them a third place finish. Zach Haya (160) went 2-2 on the day, picking up one pin and a 5th place finish. Romie Hurla (170) won one match and a 7th place finish.

Wabaunsee will be traveling to Onaga this Saturday (December 8th) for our second tournament. Wrestling begins at 9:00 a.m.
