On Jan. 19, 2013 Mr. Philbrook accompanied twelve MCV junior high students to the KMEA North Central District Middle Level Band and Choir workshop in Junction City.   The students attended a packed morning of instruction by experienced, knowledgeable musicians.  The afternoon concluded with a concert featuring the honor choir followed by the honor band.  The concert was open to the public.
